Gregzilla’s return marks the start of something big for Ginebra

Ginebra hopes big things will finally come the Kings’ way after finally puncturing the PBA Commissioner’s Cup win column.

And big comes in the form of 7-foot Greg Slaughter and 6-foot-10 Charles Garcia getting in playing shape as the conference goes on.

The two were a constant threat inside as the Kings scored a runaway 104-91 win over the Blackwater Elite Friday at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, Laguna.

Garcia continues to improve for the Kings as he tallied 18 points and eight rebounds, while Slaughter chipped in 12 and six boards to stop the bleeding for the team and register its first win in three starts.

Coach Tim Cone said the two obviously is still work in progress.
