Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president Al Panlilio was with PBA commissioner Willie Marcial and league governors Alfrancis Chua, Mert Mondragon, Dickie Bachmann and Silliman Sy in announcing the composition of the squad that will try to provide impetus in the development of the event set to be played in the Olympics in 2020.
“We’re very focused in developing our 3-on-3 program because it’s now an Olympic event. We’re plotting strategy on how to be able to compete well,” said Panlilio, also a PBA board member as representative of the Meralco Bolts ball club.
“We’re keeping our path for Gilas but we also want to create a path for the 3-on-3,” Panlilio added.
